they aired raw comedy last night, and i watched bits of it - managed to miss my bit though, which was probably my subconcious intention. there was a movie on foxtel called 'the mystic masseur' which i was intrigued by instead - it was an english speaking indian movie, but all the indians had jamaican accents. they sounded so cool! anyway, today i have been getting sms and email messages from people who saw me on telly and although it's a nice little ego boost, it also makes me realise that theres a whole heap of other people out there who now know my name and what i look like. weird.
yesterday was the last day of being an extra on williamstown beach. it wasn't like monday - there wasn't a whole lot of waiting around yesterday. i was involved in about four scenes, mainly because out of a group of eleven extras i was one of three women. hence, i was cast as someone from the makeup department. i got to run into a scene and comfort the starlet and her backup dancers when their scene is mucked up. i had to pat and coo and straighten hair. then in another scene i had to congratulate a backup dancer on a scene well shot, before leading her to a chair. i felt quite bad for the girls because while their roles called for skimpy outfits, the weather didn't.
