you know, though some things in my life seem absolutely out of control at the moment, there are others that i know are blessings (the fact that i'm not a religious person and i'm using a derivative of the the term 'bless' should give you an indication of how i'm feeling right about now). it's a weird and wonderful thing when support and friendship comes from areas you didn't expect it from. it is a beautiful thing when hard times buff up those relationships that matter until they shine so bright, that in their blinding glare, you almost forget that some of the other ones (which you would have liked to've been able to depend on) are as good as gone. you know how, sometimes you hear people say, 'it's times like these when you know who your friends are'? i'm there.
