how cold was it today? in the middle of kings way waiting for the lights to change, i'd swear the wind was blowing straight through me. and when you consider the layers of padding i have built in, that's a pretty nifty feat... i actually have my electric blanket on at the moment. i'm finding i need it more and more. europe in winter should be interesting then, huh..?
i've finally finished uni - i'll be getting my full results back next week, but from what i've gotten on my written assignments i have sort of an idea of where the final results will be. i am really glad i;m done, and i think i'll take a break before getting back into study again. never say never, huh. this time i'm going to really do my research though - i think overall i was alittle disappointed with my grad dip. it's funny, i thought it was just me, but it seems the more people i talk to about my frustrations with the way study was going lately, the more i realise that the problem is not something exclusive to me, or to my university. somehow that doesn;t fill me with the urgency to go any fruther at this stage, study-wise. although after spending time at the university of the south pacific campus, i have to say i wouldn't mind teaching there one of these days. it's such a lovely, lush campus, and the people are great. and in the middle of a melbourne winter, it's the stuff that dreams are made of, let me tell you.
coming back to melbourne, it's taken me a while to get used to television again. where is commander in chief?? okay, i know that it's been canned in the US, but we're what, a decade bhind them in schedules anyway, right? i love that show. i am happy that veronica mars is back on, though - i don't even care that it's on a friday night - i'm addicted! desperate housewives is losing its appeal with me now, it's strictly background viewing. though now that i have no more uni assignments to do, i should be getting on with some actual fiction writing. there's a thought, huh?!

Went and saw Russell Peters last night. My cheeks are still hurting from laughing so much. He was brilliant. Miss the Melbourne comedy scene though. Sydney is not as good. Thought of you while i was at the show last nite.. still doing stand-up?
