the year's drawing to a close and i haven't really had much to say about that. it's been an interesting year for me, but i'm hoping it's not the pinnacle - there are a few more things i want to get done in the next twelve months. so next year could be even better... fingers crossed.
i had a great time at meredith but didn't end up seeing half the bands i wanted to because i spent a lot of time chilling out at the camp site. i actually listened to the avalanches dj set from my tent, drifting back and forth between sleep and awake. maybe i'll have to go to the carpark festival to see them properly.
just in case i don;t post again for the rest of the year, have a great chistmas and a fun & safe new years eve - and enjoy 2006, it's the only one we'll get.

It has come to the end of a huge year, and I wanted to say thank-you.

For making me genuinely laugh – all the time – thank-you.

And for understanding when I’m do my own things, without you. I know you miss me sometimes, so thank-you.

Thanks for not being neurotic about your looks so that you diet every week, and thanks for believing me when I say I love you just the way you are.

Thank-you for being great in bed.

Thank-you for not hiding (from anyone) behind layers of makeup, fashion victim clothes, and hair products. Thank-you for being a natural beauty inside and out.

For finding satisfaction in cooking, and challenging your talent for it; thank-you.
Thanks for encouraging the expansion of my culinary tastes, ten-fold.

Thank-you for standing beside me in whatever I do. Thank-you for worrying about me.

Thanks for not comparing us to rich people.

For making me feel handsome, charming, funny, strong; thank-you. I hope I return the favour.

Thank-you for telling me how you feel, especially when it hurts, or you know it will hurt me. You have strength, courage and wisdom.

Thanks-for the affection you show me in public; it makes me feel proud, and loved.

You are my partner, my friend, my lover, my rival, my counterweight, my partner-in-crime, the ying to my yang, and I never want another. We’ve been married for nearly six years and nothing has changed.

I love you alone.
